Vote Center Statistics

Short post about what kind of turnout we are seeing from the new “Vote Centers”. Please note that the numbers I am citing are for people who used the in-person voting (not those who dropped off their absentee ballot at the center). Here is a quick statistical breakdown:

Number of Voter Centers- 189 Total Vote Centers in Orange County
Number of Voters who have voted at Vote Centers- 12,065 (approx.)
Number of Voters who voted yesterday at Vote Centers- 1,400 (approx.)

undefined

The grand total of ballots received in-person (including absentee ballots dropped off, 52,512.

We will have to see what happens with voting at the Vote Centers today. It would appear that the largest cause of the increase in turnout would be the fact that everyone received a mail-in ballot.

The report I just received from a couple of Vote Centers shows a steady stream of voters. Stay tuned for more coverage throughout the day.
